CECAP JUVEN & MY EVS WORKING ENVIRONMENT =D

I would like to start this post talking about " CECAP JUVEN " and then some of my volunteering work with users I ll keep posting my new activities here so keep checking it more offen for interesting news to come :) !

CECAP JUVEN was created as Lead Youth Services , its did for the absolute belief to contribute , through their efforts and commitment to the philosophy that is transmitted from youth services in our region and Europe reached each youth who compose it, believing that in this way we could contribute our bit working under a single label , the youth , in the construction of a value-laden society .

CECAP
JUVEN was created to generate spaces in which those young people at risk of social exclusion could enjoy community-oriented initiatives , following fundamental premise coexistence and social awareness , fostering social inclusion. At this point we want to emphasize that all the initiatives promoted by the entity are not directed to a particular group , but the bulk of the youth population .

* CECAP JUVEN Today , it has grown through the work of volunteers / as , implementing projects and initiatives trying to get through non-formal learning , the internalization of values ​​and experiences that help all young people are maturing and development intellectual , without ever forgetting the fun.

Along with the Training Service CECAP takes place this service in order to achieve autonomy in people with specificity as to Recreation and Leisure. To do this service provides skills training and skills according to individual goals and planning actions in contexts standardized leisure (bars, concerts, cultural events, etc ...) by means of actions in small affinity groups.
 
  In all our activities Recreation & Leisure, the main objective is the inclusion of people at risk of social exclusion by facilitating youth access to global youth policy, in this way, we see diversity as a core value for the development of the same being the Leisure inclusive space where to find an experience that reinforces the learning process for young people at risk of social exclusion. .
 
These courses are courses monitors youth activities, inclusive Leisure Monograph , crafts , volunteering, new technologies , photography etc . Importantly, the volunteers of the organization have an initiative space where they can develop projects that are related to the purposes of this youth organization , with more important artistic and cultural projects .

I started my training after 2 weeks of arriving to Toledo , At the main time  am joining EVS volunteer Isabel from Germany with her work to learn and to know more about users and experiencing new things therefore its big challenge for me as iam still beginner level in casteliano languge as am learning new words every day for people , users , workers, volunteers ,  language classes , my flat mates too .

 Anther beautiful young lady called Noelia we go with her swimming pool twice a week , to assist her  in swimming lessons with a group of other children . ( picture taken in the park next to the swimming pool place )

The On Arrvial Training to Huesca - Canfranc !



As I have already been in my project 4 days ago , I packed my  my suite case again for the training and went to the train station to start my trip to Huesca ( canfranc ) .. I was so confused how i am going to reach there and if i will be lost in the train stations ! But i was lucky that the guy who was setting next to me  was one of the German participants in the training also he is EVS volunteer in Toledo :D we Talk & Talk & Talk  in Spanish !!!! later on i discovered that he speaks fluent English :D! Then we reach " Zaragosa " and we met the rest of the volunteers so we start to get to know each other while we were waiting the coordinator to get a bus to Huesca ...

Well it was one of the best 5 days in my life as i found new friends, learned about the EVS , Youth in action program , Youth pass and other related topics . Most important I had a lot of fun and crazy times ! We were more than 20 participants from  EU countries and middle east so we shared lots of thoughts , traditions , experiences and more . The best part is now have multicultural friends around Spain to visit :D !

Goodbye Jordan , Hello Toledo :D !



 Being an EVS volunteer is such a wonderful and unique experience. I am absolutely sure that I will never forget this amazing period of my life so, first of all, why did I decide to do an EVS in Toledo - Spain ? Because I am from Amman -Jordan - "middle east " which isn't one of the European union . Also i would like to have an experience in a new country to make clear view for what i want from life and what i want to achieve in future so i decided to leave my Comfort zone and to start my new journey & adventures ( New people , Culture , Traditions , Religions and more )  . . So let’s see what will happen in the during my stay in spain ..... Am really excited !!!!


So when i was in Jordan i started applying for EVS projects and with the support of My organization (Jordan Youth Innovation Forum - JYIF)  specially Mr Ali Haddad  , Then i got approved for EVS project in my hosting organization now ( Serviceo De Cepacitacion  -CECAP ) .  With a big support from the  coordinator Ismael and my tutor Oscar for providing me with all documents i need  to start my journey with them  ..  


By 15.10.2013 My bags were packed ( passports , money , big smile  ) and READY TO TRAVEL . WOHHO ;) !

Finally am in Madrid airport , got greeted by my hosting organization coordinator Ismael who is well known by "Chuty" :P , all the way to Toledo i was trying to speak Spanish with  him Spanish   " I think not even a word was right !!! lol  " and i hope he understood me too . 


I went to CECAP in afternoon the same day and i met my tutor Oscar who introduced me to all the employees there as they were welcoming also my flat mates  :D ! 


  My second day in Toledo - Am i Dreaming !! 

I had four days before my On arrival training and i spend them with my tutor  Oscar who showed me the old city and we had lunch at his sister restaurant in  -Zocodover -  also he introduced  me to other volunteers from Cecap too .  


Our super group from CECAP starts from : Chuty , Oscar , Me,  Viki, Berta , and My flat mate Isabel behind the camera  <3 !
